  21. This might be too little too late...

  23. TD/RD speeds are usually gleaned from one of your modem's ati command
  24. variants.  i.e. USR uses ati6 which reports the data for the last or
  25. current call.  Not all modems offer the information, but I'd start looking
  26. there and then read the darn manual front-to-back.
